Terms of Service

These terms cover use of the LinePilot website, dashboard, subscriptions, guided launch process, and AI receptionist service.

Service

LinePilot provides AI receptionist software, dashboard tools, guided setup, lead summaries, routing rules, and related support for local service businesses. Features may depend on third-party services such as telephony, messaging, payment, email, hosting, and AI services.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting login details, and controlling who can access your workspace. We may suspend access where there is non-payment, security risk, abuse, or unlawful use.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for accurate business information, lawful call-routing instructions, caller notices, consent or lawful basis decisions, emergency escalation rules, phone forwarding, messaging accounts, staff availability, and verifying the receptionist before going live.

AI receptionist limits

AI can misunderstand callers, miss context, or produce imperfect summaries. Customers should test scripts, keep emergency rules clear, monitor results, and use human judgement for urgent, high-risk, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical situations.

Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through secure hosted checkout. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, monthly subscription fees are charged in advance with no setup fee and no long-term contract. Taxes may be added where applicable. Access to live call answering may be locked if payment is incomplete, past due, canceled, or if included usage limits are exceeded.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel future subscription renewals through the billing portal or by contacting support. Subscription fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

Acceptable use

You must not use LinePilot for spam, harassment, unlawful surveillance, deceptive caller impersonation, illegal goods or services, collecting unnecessary sensitive information, or any activity that would damage the platform or third-party services.

Availability and third parties

We aim to keep LinePilot reliable, but service availability may depend on third-party services and approval processes, including phone numbers, messaging, payments, email, hosting, and AI model availability. We may update connections as services change their APIs, pricing, rules, or access requirements.

Data and exports

Customers can request workspace export or deletion, subject to billing, security, backup, dispute, and legal retention requirements. Customers are responsible for keeping their own business records where needed.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, LinePilot is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, perfect AI accuracy, or specific revenue outcomes. We are not responsible for lost profit, missed jobs, service outages, misconfigured routing, or customer failure to monitor urgent enquiries.
